Introduced in 2020, the Core Series guitars enjoyed its fast growing popularity thanks to its focus and dedication on what truly makes acoustic guitars great: keeping it simple yet elegant, with great playability and natural acoustic sound. Cort continues the same effort with the introduction of Core-GA Blackwood, a new body style all- solid acoustic guitar that follows the same discipline and focus that made the previous Core Series so much more enjoyable and valuable.

All-Solid Blackwood
The characteristic of the blackwood is similar to an ideal blend of several tonewoods. Rich low-end of mahogany, the brightness of maple and the ethereal overtones of rosewood. Blackwood is good for both strumming and fingerpicking, with responsive clarity and power that comes from its dense characteristics.

Auditorium Cutaway Body
With dimensions of 4 5/8″ (117mm) body depth, upper bout width at 11 1/2″ (292mm) and lower bout width at 16″ (405mm), the Auditorium body size is perfectly in between the large Dreadnought and the more intimate Grand Concert. This makes the Auditorium body type ideal for both strumming, flat picking and fingerstyle playing and suits the versatile acoustic player who prefers to have one guitar to cover a variety of sounds and playing styles.

Plug in and Perform
Installed internally without cutting out any of the woods, the Fishman® Sonitone EQ system retains all the natural resonance and the pure acoustic sound that other systems aren’t capable of. The controls are simple and intuitive to use as well, with just Volume and Tone.
